A Doula is a woman servant. I will serve your every need. You want a washcloth on your face? I’ll put it there. You want it off? I’ll take it off. I will be there to encourage you and empower you throughout your labor, offer emotional and physical comfort. Keep you Informed of your options, and the processes. Help you realize and channel the strength and power you have in yourself. I will Create a safe space for you. Transforming myself into something exquisite as a uniquely vital role I must play in the care you receive.

Scope of Practice
I provide physical comfort during pregnancy and birth, meet your emotional needs and educate you on pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period.

I am educated in the birthing mechanisms, however, I am not a medically trained professional, therefore cannot and will not deliver your baby or perform any medical treatments whatsoever.

Doula Statistics
Studies prove that having a Doula in your birth team, overall, those experienced a 25% decrease in the risk of having a caesarean.

The authors concluded that the doula’s presence has a clinically meaningful impact on both pain and anxiety during labor.
