Hi, I am Jamie-Lee
Doula in the Southern Suburbs

I am a mum of 3. A boy, age 11 and two girls, aged 5 and 3.
Before I fell pregnant, I always wanted to be a mother. I knew I had a nurturing spirit. Since being pregnant with my first, I was determined to take care of mine and my unborn child’s wellbeing. Researching about pregnancy, birth, and new-borns in books dated 1986 and online for 21st century updates, I felt I was ready for this new and very unknown journey. Excited to become a mother. I was sadly not informed on the postpartum period. Not doing much research about it or having the support I evidently needed. I had to learn the uncomfortable way. A blessed journey indeed. When I was pregnant with my second, and birthed her, that was the moment I knew what I was called to do! I had the most amazing experience with the midwife on duty. I am here to help mum's and babies come into this world peacefully and satisfied beyond compare. I have a heart for helping others.
My Professional Journey
I have supported pregnant women and new mums as a professional Doula since 2019. Based in Southern Cape Town, I provide mums with the emotional and physical support they need in order to have a gentle and magical birthing experience, which ever way they choose to birth.
